ResearchOne of our primary goals is as a resource for conducting applied research on local, regional, and national technical problems which require special expertise. Many graduate students are often involved in this effort which is supported by both governmental and consulting agencies. The Department and faculty are fully committed to research, and continually extend our support to students and citizens in the Local, State and National communities. Our research areas include Geotechnics and Geoenvironmental Systems, Structures and Materials Systems, Transportation Systems and Environmental and Water Resources Engineering.
